BEGINNER (LEVEL 1)
This class is geared to help learn the fundamentals needed to progress tumbling skills. Athletes will focus on basic coordination, body shapes and movement, enabling them to excel as they progress. It will involve stretching, conditioning and basic progressions through cartwheels and roundoffs, as well as back walkovers, front walkovers and connective passes.
No experience necessary.
LEVEL 1 ADVANCED
This class will allow athletes to perfect foundational level 1 tumbling skills and learn to master level 2 tumbling skills. Athletes will work skills such as front and back walkovers in addition to front/back handspring and front/back handspring connections. This class will involve stretching, conditioning, and progressive back handspring skills.
Prerequisite: Independently perform a round-off with consistent form and proper techniques, as well as front and back walkover skills
LEVEL 2
This class is geared towards athletes that have shown mastery of level 1 and level 2 skills and are ready to strengthen connective passes and be introduced to skills such as ariels, punch fronts and back tucks.
Prerequisite: Independently perform running series back handsprings with consistent form and proper technique.
LEVEL 3
This class is geared towards athletes that have shown mastery of level 1, 2 and 3 skills and are prepared to work and master passes such as layouts, standing back handspring(s) to tuck, standing back tuck, punch front step outs and whips/bounder skills.
Prerequisite: standing back handspring series and round-off back handspring tuck with consistent form and proper technique.
LEVEL 4/5/6
This class is geared towards athletes that have shown mastery of level 3 skills and are prepared to work advanced bounding skills and twisting progressions.
Prerequisite: standing back tuck, round-off back handspring layout
